Aegis MEP Announces Name Change

6/9/2008

COLUMBUS, OH – Aegis, Mission Essential Personnel formally changes name to reflect core business. The new name will be Mission Essential Personnel and will be effective on Monday, June 9th, 2008.

Chad Monnin, Chief Executive Officer said, “Although we are only eliminating Aegis from the name, the change has a much larger impact.” Aegis, Mission Essential Personnel or Aegis MEP was the name given to the company as founded in 2003 by Chad Monnin and Greg Miller. “When we started Aegis MEP, security was one of the four primary business units, and as such, we chose ‘Aegis’ as a name due to the Greek origins of protection and guidance,” said Greg Miller, Chief Operating Officer.

Monnin says, “Our business is about highly skilled people, program management and operational support within the United States and abroad.” This change will also bring about better organizational alignment and a renewed focus from all employees as our expansion continues. “Our goal is to be the global leader in specialized operational support, changing the name to reflect that is critical to the mission of providing certainty to all customers.”

There will be no change in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), DUNS, IRS or other company data.
