MEP Announces Leadership Changes
COLUMBUS, OH – Mission Essential Personnel, LLC (MEP) today announced Peter Horvath, chairman of MEP's Board of Directors, would become the company’s interim CEO, while MEP COO Marc Peltier would become President.
"MEP is a terrific company with an important mission,” Horvath said. “I'm honored to have been asked to contribute towards its next level of growth."
Horvath joined MEP's Board of Advisors in September 2011 and became chairman of its Board of Directors in December. Previously, he was COO and executive vice president of Victoria's Secret, president of DSW, Inc, and an executive with Limited Brands. He is known for bringing agility, crisp execution, and focus to organizations he leads.
Peltier has a tremendous depth of knowledge of the government services market, having led defense contracts for more than 16 years, including the last four at MEP. Previously, Peltier was with Titan L-3 and BTG. Peltier is a retired Army Military Intelligence Officer.
In a letter to employees, MEP's Board of Directors said: "We believe the combination of Peter’s experience with world-class, high-performing organizations combined with Marc’s depth of knowledge in our industry is the perfect enabler for the growth that lies ahead."
Chris Taylor, MEP's previous CEO, will continue to advise MEP. In its letter, MEP's board said:
"We are grateful for the work Chris has done to position MEP for growth. Chris has had a major impact on the culture and the people around him. His ability to connect people, business requirements, and new markets in developing countries was particularly amazing."
