COLUMBUS, OH -- Aegis MEP expands into MD, VA and GA to support U.S. Army INSCOM. Aegis MEP has moved into new facilities in Linthicum, MD to support pre-deployment processing, testing, training and orientation for new employees serving in Afghanistan. This is a purpose built Pre-Deployment Processing Facility (PDPC). The PDPC is fully operational and can support the processing of 220 new hires per month. Having a dedicated facility and senior leadership at the PDPC brings a significant competitive advantage to our customer as we support Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan.
Lorton, Virginia and Columbus, Georgia are the sites of two other offices dedicated to the INSCOM linguist contract. The Lorton facility will provide dedicated Program Management Support and the Columbus, Georgia facility is the site of all CONUS REPLACEMENT CENTER (CRC) operations. The staff of each office is operating in fully functioning but temporary space. The final build outs and move in date will be June 15th for the PMO and July 10th for the CRC facility.
